MicroXCT
Xradia's MicroXCT Series 3D tomographic x-ray transmission microscopes give you the ability to view "inside" your sample to see critical internal structure, features and defects. This enables you to see structure within your sample without destroying sample integrity and possibly even destroying the artifact or defect of interest. Xradia's design allows for the highest resolution combined with the shortest exposure times available commercially. Like a CAT-scan (computer aided tomography) at the micron scale, it is an economical, versatile, and easy-to-use tool for a wide range of applications.
Why is Xradia’s MicroXCT system re-defining high resolution x-ray microscopy?
- Xradia has leveraged its expertise in high resolution imaging and has developed a breakthrough design for 1um resolution x-ray tomography. Because of our novel design, the Micro-XCT is able toimage larger samples while maintaining high resolution in true 3D.
- This means fast non-destructive 3D imaging at micron level resolution in larger samples such as whole IC packages.
System operation and image processing are all controlled through the integrated computer system and simple user friendly graphical user interface (GUI). In operation, automated 3D tomography can replace costly, time consuming sample preparation or deprocessing. Running on standard 120VAC power, there are no special facilities requirements. High utility combined with minimal running costs means rapid return on investment.
Whether you're studying plant cell structure, conducting IC packaging FA, or developing next-generation medical implants, the MicroXCT is an indispensable tool for process control, product development, quality assurance and basic research.
