Introduction: Cameras & Lenses
Thermosensorik GmbH offers a large selection of standard and special lens for all infrared wavelengths. The lenses have been specifically developed and optimized for Thermosensorik GmbH camera heads. They offer excellent imaging quality with fast lenses (large shutter ratio, up to F/1.5), which is required for high thermal sensitivities and for use in non-destructive testing. In order to achieve the greatest possible modularity, the lenses have been designed so that they are also compatible with the currently largest IR detectors (i.e. 640 x 512 format with 24 µm pixel grid). When choosing a lens, you only have to ensure that the spectral ranges of the camera head (SWIR, MWIR, LWIR) and the lens match.
The standard lenses have been optimized for a very wide range of use. In all lenses, the macro limit can be further reduced by using adapter rings without serious loss of imaging quality. Owing to the shorter distance to the lens, adapter rings (see accessories) capture a smaller section of the object.
